- The University has only One campus (Enschede, The Netherlands)
- There are more than 100 plus sports facilities available, each sport has their own club, there a huge library where you can borrow textbooks, working material etc. there are also study spaces, you can book a room for free for studying. As for Medical services there is a hospital and a dentist on campus in case of emergencies.
- Kick-in festival (two times a year)(Depends if the University has budget) , Kings Day, Business Days (Companies from all over the country come and setup a stall to display their projects, also helpful to grow your network)
- A lot of student organizations are available. depending on the Engineering branch they each have a study association and they provide information such as previous year Question papers or study material apart from this they offer free Coffee and Tea and occasionally free fruits. As for the sports clubs each sport have their own club they post the training times on their own websites.
- NOTE: To access all the above you need a student card (Student ID card given by the University) and a yearly subscription

I am immensely satisfied with my experience at University of Twente. The curriculum , infrastructure and exposure here is best in class and has helped me in boosting my technical skills on numerous levels. I have grown a lot as a person in past 1.5 years of my study. All I have is immense amount of gratitude for this place and the people I have met. The multi national culture at the University is conducive for growth and learning. I have met some extremely kind and helpful people. The requirements of curriculum has helped me hone my cognitive skills enormously.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is best in class, with best quality research facilities available in the labs. Access to highly technical facilities is also provided with great ease. Library is quite spacious with best infrastructural facilities such as project rooms, discussion rooms, meditating place, individual study spaces. Best in class sports facilities are provided and WIFI connectivity is available throughout the premises of the University campus.

Extra circular activities are plenty and open to anyone with interest. The professors at the university have doctoral degrees and are very knowledgeable and helpful not just for academic but for professional life as well.
Dislikes
- It’s in a small city so not much happening around. Have to travel a lot to the west for opportunities. There is housing issues and have to find places quite early. Large number of locals use private transport and hence public transport services are a big slow.

It’s wonderful experience to stay with your friends and learn new things expanding your vision through experiences from extra curricular activities and academic activities. The bonds of friendships is one of the best things we experience through international studies. Learning more than what is known and looking at things in a different perspective is most advantageous characteristic one learns. I feel like I have grown into another person in a better sense.

The campus is very green. In fact was constructed within a forest. Everyone here rides cycles to places making it most sustainable university. There is free Wi-Fi around the campus with private Wi-Fi for campus accommodation as well. The building are very big and hold latest technology. Library is best learning place used by most students. The libraries have a lot of books of different categories and authors. The staff are also very friendly with helping.

- It offers a blending learning approach with a mix of theory, practical and field visits. It has got a wonderful campus and attracts international students from varied geographies and backgrounds. The professors are very open and helpful.

- The university does not offer career counselling for the international students. Besides, there is low intensity in coursework which may be increased. The course structure needs to be redesigned making it more aspirational and intensive.

The course had best faculty from IIRS, ISRO and ITC, Netherlands along with the multicultural environment for research work and skill training. The course was supposed to be of the utmost quality.

International students planning to work while studying at the University of Twente must abide by the strict rules set by the Immigrations Department of Netherlands. Working while studying allows a student to gain professional skills desired by the recruiters. As most graduate recruiters look for students with previous work experience, working while studying will not only be helpful in financing yourself but will also make you more industry-ready.
For pursuing part-time or summer jobs in the Netherlands, you must be familiar with the following aspects involved:
- International students need a temporary work visa (TWV) to work while studying.
- There is no visa fee for TWV.
- The work hours for students pursuing their studies in Netherlands are restricted.
- Students are allowed to work 16-hours a week for working part-time throughout the year.
- Summer or Seasonal work (both full-time and part-time) is allowed through June, July, and August.
- The employer work agency applies for the work visa for you.
- It is suggested that it is applied 5-weeks before engaging in the work.
- The documents required include: Residence permit/study visa and proof of enrollment.
