  • Dislikes:
  • Nothing for now to dislike about the university since each and every thing is well organised and everything is kept in mind when it comes to academics or anything else.

Campus Life:

Campus life is good, there are many clubs and societies that you can join and yearly they have atleast 2 days for the clubs and societies to market themselves in the campus.

Hostel:

Getting Accommodation is very hard and expensive in Dublin. I was lucky to get campus accommodation but it was around 900-950 Euros per month which is approximately 80,000-85,000Rs per month

  • Dislikes:
  • There are not such dislike only the main would be that if the masters would have been of 1.5 years or 2 years it would have been great. As 1 years of masters is little hectic and it gives you less time for modules and as the masters project requires a lot of time so it becomes hectic some time to complete all the 8 modules along with the masters project .

Campus Life:

The campus is humungous and the university has 3 campus which gives you variety to visit different campus library and enjoy the weather and study for you exams and assignments. There are different functions concerts going on in the university every week which will keep you engage and you will not feel bored if you are alone in a new country and you will get a great exposure and make new friends. The campus has free wifi throughout the campus.

Hostel:

The university has accommodation facility where you have to apply through the university portal and based on that the room will be allocated on the preference which will cost you around 1200/1300 euros per month including the electricity, wifi and gas bills only. Apart from that you can search for accommodation around the city centre or with sharing with your friends which will cost you around 700/800 euros per month.

  • Dislikes:
  • Learning materials for all the course modules can be updated as per the modern standards. The materials are still based on conventional studies which might be a drawback especially when pursuing a degree like Masters. Faculty should be hired on the basis of experience but also on their communication skills. Few of the faculty members, coming from different countries sometimes lack in their communication skills.

Campus Life:

Campus infrastructure is brilliant. Campus life is amazing. Full of college events and activities throughout the year in collaboration with clubs and societies.

Hostel:

Single room average price 700-1000 EUR. Could be more expensive depending on the location. Rent is expensive here. Food and groceries cost is decent. Travelling is cheap for students.

  • Dislikes:
  • Course wasn't that great. Overall the university was good but the MSc in Digital Marketing course wasn't up to the level and the expectations. Moreover there are no placements or internships by the university

Campus Life:

DCU is very well equipped with all the facilities be it library, on campus gym, sports or the bar.

Hostel:

I paid 900 euros per month inclusive of the utilities. It was an ensuite room with a shared kitchen. The advantage was that we didn't have to travel for the classes.

  • Dislikes:
  • There is nothing specific since I had a very positive experience at the University. It is not to say there are aspects that are not desirable however I have not experienced so not the best person to answer.

Campus Life:

Campus life is very awesome with various activities available like get-togethers, sports, debates are available.

Hostel:

Accommodation is a challenge in Dublin with hostels on campus the preferred option. Since outside rentals are equally costly. You can get single and double rooms. Approx rate 3000-3500 Euros for 1 Semester in Campus Accommodation.

  • Dislikes:
  • The vast exposure one receives and ample of opportunities to join and participate multiple clubs and societies allows for enthralling experience that makes it very difficulty to dislike the university.

Campus Life:

The University has 3 campus sites each hosting it`s own gymnasium, pool, sports complex, library, and community centers. The vast campus holds beautiful green fields and parks to walk, play or hangout with your friends between lectures.

Hostel:

The campus accommodation has lovely ambiance with sharing and non-sharing rooms, as well as fully furnished apartments you can opt from within the university. Each accommodation has several options of shared dining and laundry rooms as well as private en-suite.

Campus Life:

Right now, it?s lockdown so I haven?t got any chance to visit my college. But as far as I know, universities here have their own proper library. Though there is a lockdown going on but we have the facility of an e-library like we can just book any book that we want online and then go and collect from the library of the college. Apart from that, many colleges here have gym facility, swimming facility, sports facility. Though it is not for every college like for my college we only have a library not any other extra facilities but I know some other colleges here that provide these facilities. It is difficult right now. If I talk about now, lockdown is going on and only essentials are open so no pub or restaurants are open. So the only friends I have right now are the roommates that I am living with and my course friends with whom we have a talk through Whatsapp or Zoom call. In this lockdown situation also, the college is giving efforts like it is conducting all activities online. In my college, every week 2 days there is something or the other. Though it is online or on Zoom call they are giving efforts. The peer mentor groups, student unions, they are organizing activities. I was not able to attend because I had a part-time job but they are trying to do things. I talked about this thing that my college is taking efforts to give us in college experience by providing these online sessions like they have gyming and exercising sessions and different games. I haven?t heard from my friends in other universities like they are having this so I think this makes my college different from them. At least in this lockdown they are trying to give us college experience.

Hostel:

I think there is a shared kitchen, So it's like, apartment, condominium, like, and then there's which I think that's a shared bathroom as well, with a few showers inside. And then the rooms pretty small. Actually, it just depends on what you want. Because like, there's the room. If the fan itself then like, it's a single bed, maybe there's a double bed with a fan. It's like options, they can choose whether you want to add a bigger room with bigger space, but they're quite expensive. But from what I know, on average, they charge $150 per month.

On campus accomodation , the rooms were perfect and nearby to the classes. The rent were little expensive but worth it.

The university is in one of the top 10 university in Ireland. It is a highly recommended college for Digital Marketing. The course in the college consists of only assessment and practical based assignments. Its had assignment with working with real clients and get in house experience.

I lived in campus accommodation for my first year and off campus for the remainder of my years. I found on campus good for the first year to make friends but would prefer off- campus for future years as it's cheaper and you have more independence.

DCU is a very good business school and allowed me to complete 2 years in Boston as part of my course at Northeastern University. I also had the opportunity to do an internship in both colleges, which was very beneficial.
