Vinay Chauhan Review at Trinity College Dublin [TCD], Dublin | Collegedunia

Trinity- overall a good experience !

I chose this university as having good experience in an Insurance company back in India, I wanted to pursue my further education in the Risk Management field. Trinity was the best one to study in Ireland. Overall experience was positive, the college is very international with good infrastructure and facilities on campus. Good overall support was available to students for any problems faced during the course.

Course Curriculum :

There was not much industrial experience, except one or two classes of live trading simulation program on the campus only.

Exams :

- I only took IELTS with 7 overall score, also submitted my 10th, 12th and Graduation certification and marksheets where I had around 70% marks. - IP University with 70% marks overall. - CBSE- 70% (10th). CBSE- 70% (12th) - Requirements: LoR, SoP, CV, work experience letter and referrals from the employer if had any experience.

Placement :

I regularly visited off and on-campus companies' job fairs to keep myself updated on the market and to reach out directly to the companies to know the hiring process. A few, not a lot of students got placed through this process. Most of the students got jobs after finishing up college as they were mostly applying for experience roles. For graduate roles the median salary was 30K.

Internship :

Hyacinth Agri Products company based in Srinagar, Marketing profile, no stipend. I got referral from family members to get this internship.

Fees :

23500 euros

Scholarship :

No, I haven't applied for any scholarships as I was a bit late to apply for the course.

Faculty :

There were like 75 students in the course where we had around 6 approx subjects in a semester, total faculty count was around 10-12.

Campus Life :

Excellent infrastructure, facilities, student clubs and extra curricular activities to participate.

Hostel :

I rented outside campus, my monthly rent for a shared room with another guy was around 500 euros a month (including bills).
