Master of Science [M.S] (Chemical Engineering)
Field of Study:
$12,960 /Yr
- Technical University Munich MS in Chemical Engineering program offers a unique combination of natural and engineering sciences. It offers the possibility to set an individual focus.
- It combines the application-oriented approach of engineering with the more basic-oriented view of natural science.
- As part of the master’s degree, you can decide whether you want to focus on chemical process engineering, biotechnology, or catalysis and reaction engineering.
- Two features characterize the course in particular:
- The stay abroad
- The strong emphasis on research internships (semester theses)
- The stay abroad is estimated to last at least four months and must be completed as a research internship at a university or research institution. The second research internship is completed at TUM in chemistry or mechanical engineering.
- Alternatively, the actually obligatory stay abroad can be replaced by a TUM module, whereby 6 credits must be earned explicitly through soft skills events.
- Only six modules with a total of 30 credits form a non-changeable compulsory part of the course. The remaining 75% of the course corresponds to the almost free choice of focus by the students.

Hello. Is GMAT required to apply for Finance and Information Management? (My previous field of study was finance)
For applicants from India, China, Pakistan, Egypt, and Bangladesh, the GMAT is required with a minimum score of 640 or a percentile ranking of at least 64.8% on the GMAT Focus edition. However, you can explore the TUM courses to learn more about the curriculum, fees, and other details.
