Campus Life
- FAU has fun clubs, sports, and more. The main site is in Erlangen.
- The place has libraries, a gym, a doctor, and a spot to chill. Big events like tech fests, fun fairs, and hackathons.
- Clubs like AI Club, Code team and start-up groups help students. Sports, music, and other skills are also part of life. The mix of work and fun makes FAU a great pick.
Accommodation
- Students can choose between on-campus and off-campus housing. On campus housing is limited and competitive, with monthly rents ranging from 250 to 400 euros per month.
- Most students prefer off-campus, which costs around 350-500 per month depending on location and facilities.
- Finding accommodation is done through platforms like WG-Gesucht, Immobilieanscout24, and Facebook groups. Some challenges include high demand, limited availability and language barriers when dealing with landlords. It is advisable to start atleast 2-3 months before arrival.

Campus Life
Campus life was amazing as many international students, had semester welcome or Freshers parties along with Summer & Winter parties at Universal Hall, and had BBQ during summers at the faculty hall, overall it's an amazing experience, there are 4 big libraries completely digitalized along with free internet throughout campus, public transportation is available buses to city centre to & for, 3 big Mensa (canteens) along with small cafeterias with prices very affordable like 4-5€ for a whole meal.
Accommodation
It was difficult to find accommodation in student apartments due to high demand and less availability, rent would be really low 300€ per month inclusive of all utilities, however there are many private accommodations available which may cost around 400-600€ per month inclusive all utilities, Beware of scammers and don't pay any money upfront without signing rental contract and someone actually viewing place virtually or physically.

Dislikes
- There is nothing really to be honest, everything I mentioned as an international student, one should know it's not cakewalk to grow and reach our goals
Campus Life
Erlangen is the most happening place currently I believe, there are many club events regularly for international students for networking.
Accommodation
It used to be a little difficult to find accommodation, but now there are enough apartments and wg's. I pay 380 euros, 4 people shared apartment with private rooms.
