- Well planned campus with a big library and study house.
- Fund group event and excursions.
- Supportive staff and good colleagues.
Dislikes
- I cannot say that i dislike it, but the university is very academic based and one must really be very focused.
- The courses usually need two to three semesters, which is more than what they said.
- In winters the very early mornings lectures are bit irritating.
Placement
- Students find jobs using websites like Stepstone, LinkedIn, Google Jobs, indeed. A lot of them get jobs within 6 months. Let us say 60-70%.
- One must see that one has the needful qualities and has made the CV good. A good Professional "Bewerbungsbild" is a must.
- Check the Internet and see how the Bewerbungsbild (Application photo) is. Avoid adding unnecessary experiences in your CV. Put job-relevant stuff only.
- Average salary is 5000 Euros. The salaries depend on the state as well. Eastern states and cities like Dresden offer lower salaries as compared to the state of Bavaria, which is south of the state of Badenwüttenberg.
- Use Apps like Ebay-kleinanzeigen or WG gesucht. Facebook Indian community groups are useful as well. However, check the offer and person first; to see if it is genuine.
- Never pay online without reading the contract and getting it signed.
- You can apply at Studentenwerk for hostels. Costs differ according to city.
- There are also offers from German families to stay with them on University or studentenwerk websites sometimes. That is also a good option for integration. I stayed two years with a family and then in the Studentenwerk hostel.
