- Regensburg University of Applied Sciences’ eight faculties offers 24 bachelor’s degree programs, 13 master’s degree programs, 5 post-graduate degree programs, and also provide double degree and research programs in engineering, business studies, design, and social services.
- The university campus is located in Regensburg, in the German state of Bavaria. The city offers an impressive history and is home to some notable historical sites, most of which are part of UNESCO World Heritage.
- Regensburg University does not offer in-campus residence, it is the responsibility of students to look for a residence hall. Numerous halls of residences are available in the city of Regensburg and can be availed by international students.

Application Deadlines
Winter Semester: May 1 to July 15(Industrial Design Course). The semester starts on October 1.
Summer Semester: November 15 to January 15. Semester commences on March 15.
Candidates will need to apply from the official website of the university within the given period to be considered for admission and they can apply for more than one course.
Admission Requirements
- Transcript of the last examination passed (Class XII for Bachelor’s program and Bachelor’s degree for Master’s program).
- Document verification certificate by UNI-ASSIST
- Report card Validation form or assessment report of either Studienkolleg Coburg or Studienkolleg München.
- Certificate for German Proficiency: Test DaF (level 4 in all sections), DSH- 2; or level B2 German Certificate for admission into a preparatory course (Studienkolleg).

Financial Aid
- International students can avail various financial aids from the second semester of their education based on their academic performance and/or verifiable financial distress.
- There are various departmental and course-specific scholarship programs that international students are eligible for.
- International students are entitled to BAföG funding in exceptional cases. The local BAföG office can advise him/her about the requirements.
- The Bavarian universities of Applied Sciences provide support for International students from the 3rd semester onward at Regensburg University of Applied Sciences. To be eligible, students must not be receiving any BaföG funding and they must be in verifiable financial distress and be able to show an academic success.
- International Students can also apply for Oskar-Karl-Forster Bursary Aid(Money for books) from the 2nd semester onward. A one-off payment of up to €400 for purchasing books or other study aids is provided through an application process.
- Students can also work part-time jobs to support their basic daily expenses.

Hi. Please let me know if the GRE is required for the BS(CS) English-taught program for OTH Regensburg. This program is also called International Computer Science. Let me know the difference between Computer Science and International Computer Science. Kind Regards,
