Master of Science [M.S] (Environmental Engineering)
Field of Study:
- MSc in Environmental Engineering at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences is a 2-year (4 semesters) program.
- It is an on-campus program offered on both a full-time and part-time basis.
- The program starts in the winter semester/summer semester.
- Environmental engineering is related to civil engineering and connects the engineering sciences with the natural, ecological and legal sciences, among others.
- Students are encouraged to spend a semester abroad studying or working towards the completion of their Master’s thesis.

Tuition Fees
- There is no tuition fee for international students. Students have to submit the semester fee which is around 280 EUR per semester.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
Students must complete a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree from a recognized institution.
Language Requirement:
Students must pass the “Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang” (DSH-2) as evidence that student's spoken and written command of the German language is adequate for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs for which the language of instruction is German.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Or, completed a 3-year UG degree from an accredited institution
Required Document List
Following are the required Documents:
- Resume/CV - This provides a summary of a student's experience and skills.
- Higher Secondary School Certificate - The certificate provided by the education board after completion of the Higher secondary education and list of grades and subjects in the original language, and a certified translation (certified copies).
- School Leaving Certificate – School-leaving certificate in the original language and a certified translation (certified copies) is required.
- Language Proof – Proof of students’ language skills (certified copy).
