  • A core science curriculum in the first two semesters forms the basis of this course. The modules focus on the topic of structures of social differentiation, the importance of the cultural dimension for their reproduction or transformation, variants of capitalism and the transformation of welfare state regimes as well as on the analysis of the organization of social work.
  • In the second year of study, the students can broaden their topic profile with political science, European and migration topics based on the wide range of options (especially from the other master's programs at the department). The binding research seminar offers the opportunity to carry out smaller research projects and at the same time prepares for the master's thesis.
