IPMAT Syllabus 2024 consists of three sections- Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, and Logical Reasoning. IIMs do not provide an official IPMAT Syllabus PDF download for reference. We’ve analyzed the past year's trends and created the topic-wise IPMAT Syllabus for 2024.
The syllabus and exam pattern for IPMAT Indore and IPMAT Rohtak vary slightly:
- There is no sectional time limit for IPMAT 2024 in IIM Rohtak but IIM Indore follows a sectional time limit.
- In IIM Indore, IPMAT 2024 syllabus is divided into Quantitative Ability (QA) and Verbal Ability (VA).
- IPMAT 2024 syllabus of Rohtak covers the syllabus from Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability (VA), and Logical Reasoning (LR).
Also, there is a fourth section named Legal Reasoning, if you opt for Integrated Programme in Law (IPL) in IIM Rohtak.
Syllabus of Verbal Ability from IPMAT 2024 carries the highest weightage of 50 marks. Quantitative Ability (MCQ and SA) has 25 marks weightage each.
As per the IPMAT exam pattern 2024, you will get +4 for each correct answer and -1 for each incorrect answer. IPMAT 2024 exam duration is 120 minutes.
