DNB PDCET 2024 revised exam date is July 21, 2024. DNB PDCET 2024 registrations to begin from the May 28, 2024 from 3 PM onwards. You can apply for DNB PDCET 2024 on the offical website natboard.edu.in till June 17.

  • To apply for DNB PDCET 2024, you need to pay an application fee of INR 5,000.
  • To become eligible for DNB PDCET 2024 application, you must have cleared the final exam for a postgraduate diploma from a recognized Indian university and registered with the Medical Council of India or the respective state medical council.
  • The DNB PDCET 2024 question paper will consist of 120 questions to be solved in two hours. You will be given +4 marks for each correct answer and -1 for each incorrect answer.

DNB PDCET is a national-level entrance examination taken every year to offer the various DNB Post diploma courses in government/private institutions /colleges/ universities all over India. It is conducted by The National Board of Examination (NBE) for 14 broad specialties.

DNB PDCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates planning to appear for DNB PDCET exam must meet the minimum eligibility criteria set by the conducting authority. The eligibility criteria of DNB PDCET 2024 must be met to apply which otherwise might result in the cancellation of the admission form.   • Must be an Indian citizen.

Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria can apply for the DNB PDCET 2024 exam, six different steps need to be fulfilled while applying. An application fee worth INR 5,000 needs to be paid accurately while applying as not filling the form by instructions will not be considered and in such case, candidates’ application form will be cancelled. Make sure that MBBS and postgraduate diploma qualification is recognized as per provisions laid down by the Indian Medical Council Act.

DNB PDCET 2024 - Correction window facility

DNB PDCET 2024 correction window allows candidates allowing them to change any information that is filled incorrectly while applying. Some of the pieces of information that can’t be changed include personal details, educational qualifications, etc. and no request regarding its change will be considered later. DNB PDCET Admit Card 2024

DNB PDCET 2024 admit card will be issued for the registered candidates only, and can be downloaded from the official website using user ID and password. Information that is mentioned on DNB PDCET admit card include candidates’ name, roll number, time of reporting, exam duration, etc.

DNB PDCET 2024 result will be declared in online mode. The result of DNB PDCETwill be declared in the form of separate merit lists for each broad speciality. The scores obtained by the candidate in this exam will remain valid for the same academic year only and will not be considered the next year. 

  • All candidates will be ranked in order of the marks obtained by them amongst other candidates of the same Broad speciality which will be published as the DNB PDCET merit list 2024.
  • For instance, the merit list for DNB Obstetrics & Gynaecology secondary seats will include the name of Post DGO candidates only.
  • If two or more candidates secured the same marks, a tie-breaking rule would be applied to determine the inter-se merit in descending order

DNB PDCET Counselling

Candidates who have cleared the entrance test are invited to take part in the DNB PDCET 2024 counselling. Eligible candidates can select and arrange their preference of college post submitting the prescribed DNB PDCET counselling fee worth INR 2500. There will be three rounds of DNB PDCET counselling 2024 that is organized by NBE and all the rounds are conducted online excluding the last one which will be taken in an offline mode. Candidates who failed to get a seat in the first, second, or third round of counselling can take part in the fourth round of DNB PDCET 2024 counselling.

The criteria laid down by NBE authorities are mentioned below:

  • There is no limit on the number of total preferences that a candidate can give for a given round of DNB PDCET counselling. However, candidates are suggested not to fill those choices in which they are interested.
  • In case, they don’t pay the course fee or not join the allotted seat, they will be disqualified from taking part in further rounds of DNB PDCET counselling 2024.
  • Candidates belonging to the reserved category are supposed to upload all the relevant certificates to claim their reservation.
  • The special category candidates can opt for the special category while applying for the DNB PDCET 2024 counselling. Make sure to produce the relevant documents supporting the claim.
  • Make sure that you lock the preferences within the mentioned time period for DNB PDCET admission, else it will be locked automatically.
  • The seats will be allocated based on merit scores and the web options given by the candidate during the process of DNB PDCET admission 2024.
  • Candidates who have been allotted a seat in a particular round must accept the same and pay a one-year course fee worth INR 8,000. Fees can be paid online only.
  • Candidates who have paid the one-year course fee will be considered eligible for up-gradation of the seat in further rounds.
  • Candidates must select the certificate and biometric verification centre while paying a one-year course fee.
