AP POLYCET 2024 Counselling Process

AP POLYCET Counselling endures multiple stages, thus to make it easier to understand, candidates can check out the detailed process for the counselling process.

Step 1: Register online

• The candidates must register for the AP POLYCET web-based counseling to take part in it.
• The candidates will have to create a password for all upcoming tasks in this step.
• The authorities will inform the candidates about the seat allocation and other important matters through the account they created in this step.

Step 2: Uploading of Certificates

Candidates must upload their certificates online this year. The following documents must be uploaded by candidates as scanned PDFs:

• EWS certificate for qualified OC candidates, good for the years 2024–2024.
• Candidates for BC, SC, and ST must submit a caste certificate.
• Income document issued on or after January 1, 2018, to claim fee exemption
• Details about the study area (AU, SVU, etc)

2.1 Document Verification in Offline Mode

Candidates can also do document verification in offline mode. Individuals need to visit their nearest Helpline Centers for verifying the original documents. The helpline centers list is also provided below in the article.

Step 3: Entering Options and Choosing an Option

In the process of counseling for the AP POLYCET, this is the step that bears the most weight. Candidates are required to select their preferences using the method that is made available to them online at this stage. Candidates will be required to list their preferences in descending order of priority when entering their selections. On the same page, the candidates can also find the data from the rank list from the previous year, which will assist them while they are going through the process of choice filling out. After candidates have sent in their preferences, they are required to print out a copy of the form in which they filled out their options.

Step 4: Seat Assignment

The procedure for assigning seats will start with the timetable that is provided on the official website of the AP POLYCET. Before making a final decision regarding the distribution of seats, the relevant authorities will take into account several different factors, some of which include the category of the applicants, the choices that were selected by the candidates, and the position of the candidates on the merit list. Candidates can check the status of their seat allotment for AP Polycet 2024 by logging into the student account page on the official website. After the seat allotment process has been completed, the candidates will be given provisional allotment letters. These letters are required to be downloaded by the applicants for use in the future.

Step 5: Reporting and Payment of Fees

After the candidates have been assigned seats, they are required to download the provisional allotment letter within the allotted amount of time and then present themselves at the institute to which they have been assigned seats. Candidates are required to report themselves first virtually, via the website, and then in person, at the Institute that has been allotted to them. Candidates have a responsibility to be aware of the fact that they must report both virtually and in person at the institute that has been designated for them; failure to do so will result in the seat that has been reserved for them being canceled.
