FPM in Public Policy and Management is a 4-year Doctoral level management course. FPM in Public Policy and Management: What is it about?
This course provides the participants to master the relevant knowledge about the tools of management and the advancement of the current body of management knowledge. Candidates from government and the non-government sectors interact, exchange and learn in one class room, thus, deepening conceptual, technical and analytical skills for public policy making through interactive sessions with eminent people in the Indian policy domain through the "Policy Speaks" series. It helps in understanding the forces that shape the domestic and international environment for public policy.
The participants will be undertaking a Comprehensive Policy Paper which will help them to specialize in the chosen area in public policy field. The participants will select a topic, and conduct an intensive study on a policy issues or management challenges pertaining to it, under the guidance of a faculty.
