There is a medical entrance examination for this course to gain admission in the college. The student should be a graduate in the BAMS course from a reputed medical college. Students doing their internship period can also apply.

It is totally based on practical and on hand training.we had to work with patient, doctors, apothecary incahrge and in the pharmacy.studnets need to spend 2 hrs in pharmacy where students dispense medicine to the patients and many times we need to prepare patient case history.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course curriculum is very well constructed, so that there isn't much stress in completing the curriculum, as our course is of two years, there are three semesters every years so there are total of six semesters in our entire course and at the end of each semester there is an exam which is inclusive of practical exam and internal assessments.

Placement Experience:

The placement packages are great, various famous medical colleges and hospitals, in fact our college itself provides placements in the college, but for that the students have to register with the college, the college also suggest various hospitals where the students can work.

The admission process is quite simple, firstly fill the registration form with documents after that college conducted the entrance test for students based on academic results seat is allotted to students. It took around 3 days for the process to get done. It included document verification, medical examination, and final admission.

Campus Life:

The college conducts various extracurricular activities for the enjoyment of the students, which everyone participates in with great vigor. The sole purpose of such NSS camps, yoga day, etc, is to ensure the overall development of students. Students who want to participate in any other inter-college competitive events.

I personally think that the curriculum of my course is pretty good. We are given the basic knowledge that is required. The exam structure is also not very hectic and it allows the students to score without getting much pressure. The course curriculum is really student-friendly as it helps and motivates the student to concentrate on the knowledge and not run after the marks.

Placement Experience:

University should focus on bringing companies for campus placement. Medical council exams give good knowledge. The internship is provided as it gets helpful for us. The overall experience is quite good and also a constant learning process as the college provides us with various internships and the stipend too is really good.

There are many extra curricular activities in which we participate, they are hosted by our college and they make sure we participate in these. There are various seminars, workshops and lectures are held from time to time. Labs of our college is good and are equipped with various modern equipments.

There are various scholarship provided by state government and central government, and also by educational institution. There are various scholarship according to merit, sc/st caste and for poor people also. Loans are not provided by our college but facilities are provided by various banks.

Admission:

Student should have completed his BAMS course from a recognized ayurvedic institute. Apart from that, he/she needs to be registered with Indian medical council and also should've either completed or about to complete his compulsory internship. Also, the person needs to qualify medical entrance examination.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The fee structure for MD course is INR 430000 with INR 150000 to be paid in the first year of study while INR 140000 to be paid in second and final year of study respectively. So, the fee is pretty feasible as compared to other private colleges teaching medicine.

Various health camps are conducted by Collegeband Hospital.

Faculty:

The faculty teachers are expert and experienced in their respective subjects. Generally 4 lectures held in a day with practicals. The lectures include teaching and discussion about ayurved classic literature and also relative modern aspects and comparison. Departmental clinical posting also give access to patient handling.
