We have 5 faculty members. They are very sweet and very talented. I'm enjoying their facility. faculty members with more than 20 years of experience have had good assessment skills in comparison with other groups. Faculty members in the education discipline had higher efficiency than their counterparts in some or even all dimensions of teaching efficiency.

There are several annual fests held in our college depending on the faculty you are in. All the Jamia students are allowed to visit other facilities during these fests. We have a seperate fine arts library in our faculty and you can find almost all the related books here , be it Anatomy or art history. All the classrooms have CCTV cameras and good seperate desks that can be converted into an easel. We have a huge sports complex and sports teams as well. There are no particular clubs as such for the fine arts department. But you can always interact with new people and come up with something of your own.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Tuition fee is minimal and is a great thing for the students who can't afford private universities. Complete cost of the education is around 30k excluding the materials you will have to buy from time to time according to your need. There are several scholarships for the position holders every year. The first 4 students are granted some prize money as a reward. Even though campus doesn't provide us with any placements...professors make sure that they help children get internships and help us to stay up to date by sending necessary notifications to us.

was so ambitious about designing and graphics since childhood so I've chosen Fine Arts (Applied Arts). There r more than 7 proffeesors of particular subjects. And in present 1st year batch there r nore than 140 students (of all specialisation together). Workers maids nd care takers are constantly available according to their work and time. Professors are very well qualified and well mannered. The way the teach and explain things is really appreciating. They really help us in every kind of situations. The session started in July and we had our first semester in nov last to dec starting. We got a vacation too and now we are all set for the second semester so the sessions are perfectly timed. All those students who have hardly even read the notes provided by the teachers could have easily passed the exams.

Campus Life at Jamia is pretty fun, there is no discrimination or hate amongst the students, everyone is ready to help everyone and instead of competition, we see each other as opportunities to learn. There are a lot of functions conducted by the campus to motivate students and celebrate their achievements. The classrooms are well designed as huge classrooms with perfect ventilation and being there is always comfortable. Yearly sports day is conducted in which students from all departments make teams in selected sports and compete against each other. Apart from that there are social and cultural groups in which all the students willingly participate and I love the teamwork that comes out. The library here is a never-ending room for knowledge, almost all sorts of books are available there, and you can get them issued on your Library card and can even take them home to read peacefully. Overall life on the campus is very nice.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bachelor's in fine arts is provided by just 2 colleges in Delhi, which are Jamia milia islamia and College of Art DU. Due to my admission year being the same as the Covid year, DU had some issues with conducting their admission process and I was only left with Jamia, hence I tried my best and cracked the entrance, which I should tell was not easy. Once I entered I thanked God for letting me be there, the faculties are very friendly, helpful, and kind. Their teaching method is unique and interesting and learning is always fun here. All my teachers are PhDs and extremely knowledgeable. Our examinations are conducted semester wise, it is a 4 year, 8-semester course, and after every semester with go through an examination, I'd say they are not easy, one is tested thoroughly, and passing them gives one a hard time if not studied well, for which you need to pay attention in classes.

I am fond of drawing and paintings so I choose this course but after knowing all the 3 subjects in this course I feel the applied arts is very best for my coming future, so I choose my subject as applied arts, and the teachers are well qualified, but some are very good in sharing their knowledge but some of them don't provide you with the whole software knowledge. And if you are good at drawing, good in imagination there is no difficulty to pass.

All the teachers had a different approach to teaching. Some of them were well-versed with the latest industry trends and demands whereas a few teachers were more traditional. A students learning and progress would depend more on their communication skills with the professors as well as how good they can gel with them.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

Around 1lakh per year. They were generally deposited by cheques. No, the college did not ask for additional fees, but we would need to buy our own stationary and art supplies as well as pay for IV trips and tours. The arrangements were made by the college, but we had to pay additional money.
