The process by which we can get admission in CSIR- Central Institue of Medical and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP), Lucknow is by interview, You have to fill the form and the college will call you for the given interview.
There is no entrance exam is conducted in this college. Also there is no such type of exam is conducted for intake to the college, the only process to get into this college is by filling the form and go through the personal interview.
I have done msc and after that i thought of doing phd and then i thought of doing Phd in genetics and plant breeding.For Admission in the CIMAP i have given CSIR UGC NET.On the basis of the its score and interview i got selected for the admission.
The admission in CIMAP is on the basis of interview and score of CSIR UGC NET it is your exam that held on national level. I feel of the form of CIMAP and also attach the score card of CSIR. For passing this test the applicant should score 33% or above.

Having done my research from there really helps my credentials wherever I go and I have never known a more dedicated place.

Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants also known as CIMAP was established in Lucknow in 1959.It is a public(Research Institution) type.People who want to take admission in this research center have to fill the application form and appear for a written test followed by an interview.
The college is good.The study environment of the college is good.The seniors and faculty members are very helpful.They help and guide us.The activities held in the college are also quite interesting.There are various kind of workshops that are conducted which make our research more interesting.
There are no negative remarks for the college. A very good infrastructure, technology, modern sciences, biology etc are all up to the date so a student can learn better from the campus. High profile staff with a library of plenty of books. I love the library because as I am a research student I get all books from our library.
