Yes, University provides the hostel and mess facility and it's all included in the fee and everyone provided their own single room. As the university has 19+ hostels and they also have their own mess and playground area.
Hostel facility was okay, food was given 4 times, dinners were not apt, but the lunch and snaks were good, Registration process was quite hectic and lengthy they aren't working in automation and still follow the old days schedule.
The hostels are well furnished and equipped with all the required things. They provide a single bed, a study table and chair with and bookshelf, and an almirah to each student. There is an attached balcony with every room which gives a pleasing view. The hostels are well maintained with cleanliness and hygiene. The washrooms are quite good and maintained. The mess food is also good. The menu changes regularly with 4 meals a dal, breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner with sweets. The hostel and mess fee is Rs 70,000 per year. The girl's and boys' hostels are separate and the good thing is they are on the campus itself.
The facilities provided in the hostel are a personal room with an attached balcony bed without mattress fan light Almira side table chair book shell. The hostel distribution is year wise. The meal of the mess is fixed and made on the basis of the meal plan there are 4 servings per day as breakfast lunch snacks dinner. The meals are vegetarian and full of nutrition, the registration of mess and hostel is done at the same time of admission as the hostel is compulsory for all the students.
The registration of the hostels is done at the same time of admission as it is compulsory for everyone to opt for hostels. And also the hostel distribution is based year-wise not course-wise. Two hostels have one mess in common in which the meals menu is fixed by the higher authorities and there is 4-time meal given to the students as dinner snacks breakfast and lunch which is based on their nutrition. Every person has given their own and separate room with bed without mattress, light, fan, side table , chair , table, and an attached balcony
The hostel registration is done at the same time with admission procedure as the hostels are compulsory for all the batches and courses students. The hostel rooms are separately for one person with an attached balcony in it and they provide a light fan side table chair table and bed. Students especially girls are not allowed to move out of the hostel area after 7 in the evening. The hostel staff and caretakers are very polite and help students in everything.
The mess quality of gbu is ok. They provide a fixed meal routine for every day and there are 4 meals per day that are breakfast dinner lunch and snacks. The meal includes nutritious vegetarian food, and on festivals such as Navratri and Diwali, they provide fast foods also. The registration of the hostel is done at the same time you're registering for the college as the hostel is compulsory for all the students. They provide a separate and single room for every student which includes a light fan side table, table book shell.
The hostel facilities in gbu are also very great. They provide a single and personal room for every student, and the allotment of the hostel room is based on their year, they provide fan, light, Almira side table bookshelves table bed without a mattress for every student in the room. And the hostel staff is quite adjusting, girls are not allowed to move out of the hostel after 7 in the evening while the boys don't have any such restrictions. The mess food quality is ok, they provide good and proper meal which is based on nutrition plus they only provide vegetarian food.
There are 6 girls and 9 boys hostels, which are huge and have allotments on the basis of batches and departments. Every student has its own personal room which is of comfortable size and has a balcony attached with it, the washrooms are however not attached with the room every 4 or 5 rooms have one washroom.
