About IIGJ
Indian Institute of Gem and Jewellery, established in 2010, is a private college affiliated with RISU, Jaipur and approved by AICTE. 12th pass was the only criteria for the diploma in gemology, However, I also have a Bcom degree which is more beneficial. Application fees. forms and dates are available from the registration desk only. I visited the campus to get the application process completed, however, it can also be done over the telephone or online. No reservation benefits are available. Yass would like some improvement in admissions process ..like1) reminder when the next batch of course will start. 2) reminder message of the date those who paid booking amount in course 3) confirmation of ur booking so one get satisfied that his seat is booked and starting from that particular date ... This will be really helpful for students like me who are coming from outside Rajasthan.
Admission:
The course only required 12th Passing Marks for admission criteria. I got to know about the college and course through my relative who asked me to visit the college and I decided to opt to join the college after looking at the infrastructure facilities. The admission process was very smooth.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The manufacturing course starts with basic exercises i.e. sawing, filing, smithing, alloying, drilling, soldering etc. Getting accustomed to precious & non-precious metals. Lecture on safety regulations are imparted.

I did a 3 years bachelor’s program from Indian Institute of Gem and Jewellery. The institute is a hub for vocational studies and delivering qualified graduates in the gem and jewellery industry. The academics and practical sessions are good. Overall the facilities are magnificent.

Course is new so very few people know about it and slowly and study it is getting popular which can be seen with the number of students increasing every year also the curriculum keeps on changing with the changing atmosphere of the industry so this is a very positive thing.
