Yea, college provide internship.Currently I am placed in CRISIL. If you are Finance major guy and want to go in analyst role then I don't think so you can get better then this. And if I talk about stipend then what to do with stipend if you got brand with profile.

there is a placemnet committee in my college. The committee deals with all matters relating to placement of students. It ensures timely placement interviews, quality of placements done, laying down procedures and systems and evolving effective feedback mechanism as well. some of them are Indusind Bank , Ebony Gautier, Genpact,Mother Dairy,HDFC Bank, GodfreyPhillips, IBM India Pvt Ltd, ICICI Prudential, Shoppers Stop are many more.
At the end of the first year of their programme, i took up a two-month internship assignment (summer & winter training) with an organization. This is a compulsory component of the curriculum for the completion of the programme, and is designed to provide exposure to the working of organizations, as well as a chance to apply the learning
