The internship opportunities in the college were available. The internship will be started from the last year of the course and it's awarded around of 5000. The job opportunities and placement offers in Kerala are very limited in numbers especially in India. The majority of the job opportunities are available outside India. Our college provide internship opportunities for pharm D is partnered hospital.
The college provides a free selection of various hospitals which the student inter to get participate in. The college consists of an ashram in a charitable organisation and an orphanage which is supported by the college.
Our college had very well developed a partnership with industry leaders to make sure the subjects are relevant thus we can start our Jon on day one. Since this is the top Pharma college in Kerala, it attracts many industry giants in the Pharma domain to provide employment in their research institutions and hospitals.
Job fairs are well conducted in our college as they have very good relationships with Pharma companies inside India and abroad. I have seen lots of students getting offers from well-known hospitals, research institutions, and manufacturers of medicine with a good stipend. In my experience, for a PG candidate, the average was about 40,000 +.
There is a placement cell in our college which helps conduct various skill acquiring programmes in the college campus itself which is very helpful to the students. There are other aptitude tests conducted to know how fit one is to be employed and what skills are less and which skills are strong.
The placements and job opportunities here in India, especially Kerala are very limited for this course. The majority of the jobs are outside India. Yes, our college provides internship for my course in our partnered hospital. The internship is 1 year. I haven't started my internship yet as I have 2 more years to go. The stipend is low - around 5000?.
