NDS does not offer any hostel accomodations to students. However, students can still apply for rental facilities around the campus ground. There are many hostel facilities available In Delhi that students can decided from.
Yes. The college provide excellent hostel facilities. I'm from a small town in Meerut and as I cannot go to my place daily, I'm residing at college hostel. The accommodation is very comfortable and reasonable otherwise, rented homes in Delhi are very costly.
There are many events organised by the college every year. I am always curious to participate in the events because with this we get an opportunity to learn more about theatre, drama and acting. Bharat rang mahotsav is one such famous event organised by the institution which people from all over the country come to see.
There are several extracurricular activities organised by the college throughout the year and these activities are highly appreciated by the students. My personal favourite is the celebration of Diwali in college.
To create a happy learning environment many extracurricular activities are organised and these include cultural evenings, seminars, workshops and fests and this also helps us in putting our talent forward as it provides a platform to us.
The students are admitted in the hostels compulsorily as the course demands in. There will be lots of practices and stage performance which requires the time of day as well night and the traveling here and there to home becomes complex and hectic. The facilities of the hostels are good and has all the required elements. The rentals are also very low.
The hostel are compulsory for the students who got admission in this college. The hostel rentals are based on the room sharing and mostly involves bed charge, electricity, water and mess. The rentals of the bed is 110 INR and the others electricity and water comes around another 100 INR.
There is a video audio library accompanied by performing spaces. National School of Drama has four performing spaces available on campus for the staging of its productions. These performing spaces are not commercial but function in the interest of academic activities and programs run by the School.
Institute organised many extracurricular activities to involve students in societal projects like training to children in theater and allied arts through participation in intensive summer workshops and Saturday/Sunday Club. Through workshops and the Saturday/Sunday Club, club called Sanskaar Rang Toli aims at integrated personality development of children.
Many International and national conferences are also conducted here and people varied interest participate in them. Nice management of such events take place by the college. We have one of the event management team here.
