Geniune review of SBM Collage of engineering and technology

Low fees, peaceful environment and friendly staff
Good lab infrastructure with hitech equipments

Dislikes

Buses are not available for far places..
Low maintenance of library. Most of the books are old and not in use.

Placement Experience:

*Pre-final year students are eligible for campus placement. *Tel star, HCl and other 12 companies visited. *Highest and average package as per company and profile offered was 3.5LPA *80 percent of students getting placed *To be placed in a top automotive companies like Mahindra and Mahindra, Ashok Leyland.

Likes

Good support among the staffs and students
Staffs are friendly and have flexibility with students

Dislikes

Many of staffs are completing only their master degree
Placements are too low... It should be increased

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. HDFC Bank visited and offered 200 placements with an 18000 per month salary package in starting. 30 percent of students have placed. I plan to continue in PG in my course.

My college so beautiful and very nice place.
I like my college teachers and students and principle sirs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am selected in mechanical department, because of the reason is I love this department and I also have experience in this department. My class ratio was 2:5. My department lecturer was teaching so well. Every 6 months conduct in semester exams.

Placement Experience:

High-Level Industries like Ashok Leyland, TVS, TAFE, etc. joined in the Campus Interview for selecting the quality students. The students get high salaries who have no arrears in exams. And the minimum salary for students who have 5 arrears in their exams is Rs.8000

The college requires the candidate to secure an aggregate of 55% in their 10+2 examination in PCM or PCB stream from a recognised board.The admission takes place on the basis of counselling process of TNEA and merit.
