- They really value the Dayanand system of education. A havan takes place on the first of every month in the college and some of the students are also a part of it
- The library contains a new member of books and people can sit there throughout the night to study for the exams.
Dislikes
- The hostel lights are not allowed to leave the college campus after 6 PM. They cannot even walk around in the college itself. They just have to stay inside the hostel after 6 PM.
- The library gets closed around 4 PM which do not give the student opportunity to go and sit and study in the library
Placement Experience:
There is a placement committee chair amongst the professors of the college. A few students get placed through the college itself but it's really rare. There is no professional degree provided by the college due to which not many companies are interested to take students as interns or employees. For my course which is BSc computer application, There are several companies that still coming such as Infosys TCS and many other private companies from Chandigarh itself.

My college is very good. I love my college, ambience of my college is very good. We can take all daily use products for our college tuck shop and college canteen. Its surrounding is very green and clean.

Remarks:
As we all know, MCM DAV college is one of the most recognised college in the north india and is also very well known for its fashion.Our college also ranks in top 50 colleges of india for certain streams.
Remarks:
The environment if very nice and comfortable and clean. The mobile phones are not allowed in the college campus and huge amount of fine is imposed if someone if found using the phone in the college premises.

Overall it's a good college ,teachers are very helping and the only thing I feel is not good is the feasts which is held seperately by seperate department and don't have the involvement of other departments
