Arignar Anna Government Arts College, Cheyyur, Tamil Nadu was established in 1967. In 2001, the NAAC accredited the college with Three Stars, and in 2007 the college was re-accredited with grade ‘B+’. In the beginning, the college was affiliated to Madras University but from the year 2002, the college is affiliated with Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore.
