Shri Vaishno Devi College of Education, Jammu

The Shri Vaishno Devi College of Education, Jammu & Kashmir and is at a distance of 20 kms away from Katra Railway Station was established in 2007. It is affiliated by University of Jammu and is self-financed college. The college offered Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course. The college has been recognized by National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE).

The objective of college is to provide best training by highly qualified staff in the best and congenial atmosphere has been our ideal. This has been achieved after going through meticulously in all departments of our activities. With the grace of Goddess Vaishno Devi, this institution brings forth teachers of highest integrity and thorough professionalism to shoulder the greatest responsibility of nation building through the medium of their students. The college aims is to provide education of highest level so as to make pupil teachers capable of creating enlightened citizens of India to enable them play their roles as responsible and enlightened citizens of not only J&K State but the country as a whole.
