What's New in IITTM Gwalior?
Indian Institute of Tourism & Travel Management has released the second list of selected candidates for both BBA and MBA courses on the official website. The last date to deposit the first-semester fee (online mode) and confirm admission to the course at the institute is July 12, 2024.
Notification
Indian Institute of Travel and Tourism Management is a public institute located in Gwalior with other centres at Bhubaneswar, Noida, Nellore, and Goa. It is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
IITTM Gwalior offers courses in management of tourism, travel and other allied sectors. The Institute currently offers a 3-year BBA course and a 2-year MBA course in Tourism and Travel. IITTM conducts admission to MBA and BBA program in the month of June-July and the notification for the same will be released in the month of January.
- The institute conducts both online and offline mode of application.
- Eligible candidates can either register online or download the application form from the website and then submit it to the office.
- Candidates seeking admission in BBA must have passed in Class 12th examination from a recognized university/board with minimum aggregate marks of 50% (45% for SC/ST/PH).
- Admission to MBA is done for candidates possessing a bachelor’s degree (10+2+3 pattern) in any discipline from a recognized university/board with minimum aggregate marks of 50% (45% marks for SC/ST/PH).

- Admission to both the courses is done on the basis of the IIAT (IGNTU IITTM Admission Test) followed by a GD and PI round.
- Final admissions are done on the basis of overall performance in written test and performance in GD and PI round.
- The IIAT written test along with the GD and PI round is held at the IITTM campuses.
- Besides IIAT, scores of exams like CMAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CAT are also accepted for MBA.

Reservation (for Indian Nationals) is as per the central government guideline. The reservation category along with their percentages have been given below -

I applied for both campuses of amity, the only reason I didn't choose them was that I wanted to join the best college. Earlier, I had an entrance exam which is related to management and after the entrance, we had GD-PI. We can apply for iittm if we have 50% in 12th and 45% for reserved category. All we need to do is register and they give every information including counseling.

I applied for Mass media and communication at Delhi University and Indraprastha University but as I got admission to the Indian institute of travel and tourism management, I did not continue with either of the colleges. We had contacts in the main center and contacted them for admission. They took three working days to revert back and the admission for confirmed in two days.

We needed to give the entrance then wait for the merit list and as per the merit list we choose regional centres for our further evaluations and queries. The second stage is a Group decision and Personal Interview in the regional center along with selection of a IITTM.

The factor to choose this institution, first of all this is the top institute in the industry and second it's convenient for me because it's is in my city. Process of the admission is like you need to fill the online form and the they provide you the date and time for the entrance. If candidate got selected they called you for GD and PI.
