I applied for both campuses of amity, the only reason I didn't choose them was that I wanted to join the best college. Earlier, I had an entrance exam which is related to management and after the entrance, we had GD-PI. We can apply for iittm if we have 50% in 12th and 45% for reserved category. All we need to do is register and they give every information including counseling.
I applied for Mass media and communication at Delhi University and Indraprastha University but as I got admission to the Indian institute of travel and tourism management, I did not continue with either of the colleges. We had contacts in the main center and contacted them for admission. They took three working days to revert back and the admission for confirmed in two days.
We have to apply for an exam conducted by IITTM. Then they select you on a paper basis and call for Group discussion and Personal interview. After conducting the whole process they issue a merit list on the college website.
It's under Ministry of Tourism and plus I had good reviews personally from my friends. Also Tourism is the field is something interesting I wanted. Plus Noida branch have much more exposure for internships and job opportunities.
To have my career in tourism, factor, best amongst the tourism college and a govt institution. appeared for my MAT entrance Exam (3 months preparation), Cutt-off/ Merit list comes on its website, fill a form for this institute, get a call for Group Discussions & Interview & further selection process is done.
I got admission through entrance exam followed by group discussion and personal interview. This institution is an autonomous body under Ministry of Tourism Govt. Of India. It is the best institution for getting profeesional studies in travel and tourism field.
I had given my MAT as well as IIAT which is the entrance exam of the college. We needed to give the entrance then wait for the merit list and as per the merit list we choose regional centres for our further evaluations and queries. The second stage is a Group decision and Personal Interview in the regional center along with selection of a IITTM.
I find the good scope in the tourism industry and they providing the good opportunity to be something better. The factor to choose this institution, first of all this is the top institute in the industry and second it's convenient for me because it's is in my city. Process of the admission is like you need to fill the online form and the they provide you the date and time for the entrance. If candidate got selected they called you for GD and PI.
Entrance exam conducted by college
Admission completely depends on the merit list, that is, the marks scored in the 10+2 examination. The admission form is available on the college's official website. Candidates need to download it from there and follow the rest of the said procedures.
