I think colleges can do better, but they don't have any systematic admission process, like in my case I was directly admitted without GDPI by just paying the fees, that should not be done. They should at least take interviews for every candidate.
As I said earlier I feel that the course structure is designed very nicely, there is not much pressure if you plan and study well. The subjects though there are many are planned and taught in such a manner that you got proper industry knowledge and skills. One really fascinating subject which I liked in my curriculum was Behavioural science which I don't think other colleges offer. Students think of it as an unnecessary subject but personally, I think it's a very unique subject kind of like psychology it teaches you life skills that no other subject can. As for the faculties in my department apart from some of the faculties, others are really good at their job and gave a good knowledge of their subject.
The environment of this college great for both studies and sports.
Course include lots of subject close 11-12 subjects in each semester including foreign business language (french, german, etc.), behavorial science, english language and some core subjects like accountancy, economics, taxation, financial services and moreover some open electives like cricket, Military Training Camp, etc. There are also some Non-Teaching credit courses which are concluded by submitting report and viva.
The course i chosed ( b.com(h) ) has many subjects . 11 subjects are studied in one semester course has a open elective for chossing mtc which is a great experience overall faculty is good.
The remark for college is neutral.since its not independent there are some bad effect and hostel life is awesome though it has time restrictions.
The college is good academically and structurally good faculty good service by management
Well first of all I would like to warn you that if you want to study seriously , it's not very good university for you. It's good for people who really want to enjoy their college life to the fullest or in terms of Amity students "FUN". It has huge over priced restaurant and cafes. Best is to have cafeteria lunch as it is cheaper but may/may not be as tasty as it looks. The way to earn good internals is to butter teachers somewhat and also perform in minors. A little preparation will take you miles in majors. Placements is ohk with almost all students getting placed. If you work hard you will get placed earlier that the rest and ATPC puts in full effort to get all students get placed.
