The college is recognized by the Govt. of Punjab, Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi, and affiliated with Guru Ravidas Ayurved University, Hoshiarpur, Punjab. Sri Satya Sai Murlidhar Ayurvedic College & Hospital offers a B.A.M.S. course at the undergraduate level and also offers a Diploma course in Pharmacy. - Library: The library of SSMD Ayurvedic College is one of its kind, providing reading material & Services of the highest quality. It is a center in itself that imbibes among the students the quest for knowledge and lifelong learning.
- Transportation: A separate bus facility is provided to the girls from the hostel to the college and from the college to the hostel. The college also runs a daily bus from the Moga bus stand to the college to facilitate the arrival & departure of other students and staff.
- Hostel: A well-furnished and secure boys and girls hostel facility is available at the college campus. It has a mess facility, a separate Gym room & Common TV room. The hostel campus is Wi-Fi enabled with 24-hour power and a water backup facility is available. The hostel is under the Surveillance of CCTV.
