SDM College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (SDMCNYS), Kannada was established in 1989 and is running under the SDM Educational Society. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science and recognized by Department of Ayush and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka. It offers Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) program and Post graduate program (MD) in Naturopathy and Yoga. More than 800 doctors of this college are well placed in India and aboard.

In 12th class students should score minimum 50 percentage for joining through management quota, and there will be reserve seat for CET and NEET students During undergraduatation every year University exams will be conducted and we are getting almost 100 percentage success

- The outlook of the college and the peaceful environment around. Surrounded by greenery.
- Opportunities we get to excel in culturals and sports. And overall personality will be developed if we study in this college.
Dislikes
- Hostel is quite strict with only 2 days outing for girls and 3days for boys.
- We have to focus on academics and put our own efforts cannot expect all the faculties to teach well.

Karnataka students who has secured good rank in KCET in PCB subject and has obtained 45% in boards in PCB can apply through KCET. For management eligibility remains same, that is 45% minimum marks in PCB, that means in 12 we must have taken biology as option. Application is available online and also in our college for further details one can contact our college.

The curriculum is very much interesting. We study the basics of naturopathy and yogic sciences. We learn a lot and also perform ourselves yogic poses in the yoga classes. The course is not at all hectic.

The curriculum provides detailed and specified knowledge of the subject to the students. We do practice a lot so that we gain experience. The exams are also not so hard and test our critical thinking.

All the UG Courses are for the time duration of 5 1/2 years why the last year as compulsory rotatory internship. All the PG Courses are for the time duration of 3 years. The Ph.D. Courses available at the college are discussed on contacting the designated college department or person.
Admission:
This college is located in a taluk not a city so can't expect fecilities that are available in the cities so if expecting a good facilities it's difficult as the college is situated in a taluk. The college has got a vere wonderfully environment with full of trees everywhere and surrender by mountains there are many wonderful visiting near by.

Positive- there are many positives such as roles and responsibilities which are given to the students nd they see to it that students are involved in major activity nd our involvement is seen in all the students. Negetive- when things do go sore then it will be criticized heavely and much scrutiny is seen post these episodes.
