The application deadline for this program is February 15, for admissions in the Fall semester. There will be no admissions in the other semesters. If the application deadline is missed or if an accepted student is not able to start in the Fall semester, they will need to wait until the next year

- It is the study of computational systems including both theory and applications.
- It is a field that uses mathematics, statistics, and various other tools to discover the hidden patterns in the data.
- A fully-qualified student may complete a Master's in Data Science by undertaking 30 credits of coursework
Co-op Designation Requirements:
A co-op designation may be added to this graduate program, under the following conditions:
- an application to the co-op designation may be made at the end of the third semester (after the completion of
CS 700, 710, 711, 712, 713, and 714) - a minimum average grade of 80% or higher must have been acheived on the courses taken in the first three semesters of the program
- the arragement of a co-op placement will be done in collaboration with the Career Centre, during the fourth semester
- a minimum average grade of 80% or higher must be maintained through the fourth semester of the program (CS 715, 716)
- the co-op placements will occur during the fifth and sixth semesters; these can be with the same employer or different ones
- if two semesters of work terms are completed, a co-op designation will be added to your academic record
- the normal coursework of the fifth semester (CS 719) will take place after the end of the co-op placements (in the sixth or seventh semester, depending on whether one or two co-op terms are taken)
- Note: Acceptance to a Co-op work term is subject to the approval of the Co-op Grad Coordinator. Attaining a Co-op work term is a competitive process through the Career Centre. Credit hours earned on a work term are extra to the credit hours required in this program.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students have a graduating average of at least 70 percent from a four-year bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- The related fields include a UG degree in computer science programs are software security, data security, agent-oriented software engineering, software reuse, Software Engineering, and Web Intelligence.
- GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 (B grade).
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL and GRE to get admission in this program.
Others:
Students without related academic experience or work experience are encouraged to apply for the computer science program. The student needs to complete the following courses:
- Electronic Systems Engineering
- Database
- Algorithms
Indian Student Eligibility
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students have to complete a four-year undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
- Students with a marginally lower four-year average may be accepted if their performance in the last two complete years is significantly higher (75% or more).
- Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.

- College Transcripts: The marks statement provided by the education board after completion of the previous academic qualifications.
- Financial Documentation: The Proof that shows the financial background of the student.
- Two Letter of Recommendation: This shows who recommended the student to pursue the degree.
- Statement of Purpose: This is an essay or any written statement written by the student while applying.
- Resume/CV: This provides a summary of the experience and skills of the student.
- Tests Score statement: IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or other English proficiency testing results.
