What Students Say
Likes
- I like the campus facility and amenities that you get.
Dislikes
- What I don't like is if you are in continuing studies the studies are not covered in depth. Everything feels like a rush since they want to finish off in 8 months
Course Curriculum
- The course was pretty relevant at my time. But since its only for 8 months you’ll at least learn the basics of the course but not too in depth as its rushed.
- There is only one class scheduled for a day. About 50-60 people are in the class
Admission Experience
- My background was in Marketing and the dive deeper in the course i felt like York would be the best option for me as it is a very renowned university.
- Nothing in particular as long as you have your IELTS done and you have you transcripts which should somewhat be in a good standing.
Faculty
- The faculty is great. They are well educated and you can connect to them anytime you want.
Campus Life
- The campus life is great. There are multiple amenities that you have an access to. The infrastructure is undoubtedly very nice.
Part Time Jobs
- As a student you are only allowed to work $20 hrs per week and for campus you can directly go the official website and apply. Its typically based on the availibility. It is pretty hard unless you have some similar qualification in the past or you have a strong reference.
Placement
- Some courses have a mandatory co-op which you need to find related to your course. Since the job market here mostly works on a strong reference.
- Average salary range is somewhere between $30000-45000 yearly. For continuing studies there is no campus recruitment or internships you are basically on your own after completing the course.
Accommodation
- I didnt stay on campus but stayed very near to the university so you are looking at an average of $700-900 per month. The on campus quads are very expensive they go up to $1300.
Exams
- IELTS and previous college transcripts and youll have to make a video on why you want to study in York for your application.
Fees
- It is $15000.
