RMIT University’s Finance Programs not only covers all the essential elements of finance, financial modelling, econometrics, trading, research and the analysis of financial markets, but it also develops soft skills to help you stand out. Highlights of these programs include the industry-led debating challenge, the CFA Institute Research challenge, and finance career day.  The purpose-built RMIT Trading Facility replicates a large bank or corporate treasury, using real-time market data from Refinitiv Eikon, a subsidiary of the London Stock Exchange, for simulation-style teaching and learning.

Key Points:

  • Participate in extracurricular competitions and challenges set by industry partners. These events help develop your soft skills and build your network.
  • Instead of exams, assessments are based on applied projects shaped by real-world scenarios, helping you sharpen the skills you’ll need in the workforce.

  • I have not been at the university for quite a long time. It has only been a semester since I started studying at this university. It would be very difficult for me to pinpoint what I dislike about the university but of the top of my head, providing avenues of internship opportunities even to first year students would seem a little progressive.

Studying at RMIT has been pretty good. The infrastructure, faculty and the networking opportunities that you get is really good. It all depends on where you want to study and work, but in my personal opinion, RMIT is one of the good universities in Victoria, if not in Australia.
