Campus Life

  • The city campus is in the heart of the city, easy for commutations.
  • There were not many clubs, which made it hard to network and get to know people. All major activities happened in the main campus.

  • I shared homes with people from my city, monthly it would be around $1000 including bills.

  • I don't have a list of the campuses of the university. However, there are various sports activities available on campus including sports like Cricket, hockey, basketball, etc.
  • Melbourne city is always surrounded by festivals which can be from any religion. The college, however, is relatively less occupied as I have observed so far.
  • There are student organizations that I have seen available for student enrollment and support. However, I have not observed the bigger picture of student organizations like we have in India.

  • I have opted for off-campus accommodation which I have discussed in advance. There are few people from my known ones living there and I had shifted with them.
  • The monthly rent inclusive of everything is around AU$ 1000, which includes water, Wi-Fi, gas, and everything from a ration perspective. It is safe to live in. For now, I can recommend the accommodation nearby where other students have opted.
  • The rent costs have risen considerably in the past 1 year. My stay is around an hour's drive from the university. Most students stay in the outskirts of Melbourne to bear rent costs.

Campus was well built and most of the time some events will be going on and students were highly encouraged to take part in them.

I used to stay with my friends near to the university. So it didn’t cost much.

I lived with my friends a short distance away from the university. Most students do this because living in a university is quite expensive. The average rent would be 450 AUD per month and it varies slightly depending on the area you choose to live in.

I had some friends in Latrobe, also Latrobe is a good university in Australia as it is one of the tops. I myself wanted to pursue my studies at a good university that could help me explore things that I had not explored before. Plus its main branch is in Melbourne where the cost of living is lower than in Sydney. These are the reasons to choose Latrobe University.

Can't comment not in Australia yet, but the infrastructure is one of the greatest campuses in Southern Australia and in Melbourne with State-of-Art facilities

It has courses structured to meet the required industry requirements that frequently get updated. State-of-art facilities, Public and Established University

I have chosen to find an accommodation by myself and the monthly living expenses would be approximately $1000 per month.

I am very passionate about studying Human Resources. I spent significant amount time to research the courses and subjects designed by the universities. I was impressed with the range of topics covered in Human Resource in my current program at La Trobe University. I preferred La Trobe over the other Universities specifically because of the course, Master of Management - Human Resource Management.

I live at home but travel by car for 1.5 hours per day (so all up 3 hours) I can?t afford to live on campus as it is very costly. My job is also close to my residence so it would be difficult to move and find a new job

Because they have the specific course I wanted to do in a double degree. I also loved the large open campus and how there are interesting things to do there that are unrelated to study such as a wildlife sanctuary.

Many national and career-focused events are conducted in our institute. Manny Pacquiao you have received your events conducted by places and things have changed and you can get it done. Improvisational is key.

Good education with affordable tuition fees. Good graduate employability in the industry. Good infrastructure and resources for students to seek help if facing any difficulties. Many students clubs and extracurricular activities for students all-round development.

Because it was the only university that had the specific course I wanted to do, I was looking around but no other university offered a course like this and also because this university is big.

La Trobe University offers the variety of courses I wanted, it is also relatively close to my home town which is around about 3 hours away, meaning I can still keep in contact with my family and catch up with them on weekends.
