Top university in Australia , ranked high for commerce degree
Course Curriculum :
It is okay. I like the option of selecting breadth subjects that are away from the discipline i have chosen. on the other hand i feel the structure of assessment could vary with other ways of getting real world exposure. E.g adding an extra year for internship
Exams :
Unimelb requirement - 6.5 for ielts , I scored 7.5 in ielts thats the only exam I wrote
Placement :
There are many opportunities however it is pretty competitive and the uni doesn't offer any internship experience within the bcom degree which would be more useful and more targeted towards the career path we want to head towards to.
Events :
a lot of events and clubs for everyone with different interests apart from the course they are undertaking. There is definitely something for everyone to get involved with. The infrastructure is great with a lot of greenery around , the libraries are also very spacious and a lot different spaces to choose from according your preferences for a study environment.
Scholarship :
nope
Faculty :
for tutorials it would be 1 tutor for approximately 20 students. The faculty and staff are good however some tutors seem to be more experienced compared to other tutors so not an equal quality of teaching for every student taking the same subject. The faculty is very experienced and approachable.
Hostel :
depends on what accommodation you choose , I have stayed in single accommodation and sharing , single is more expensive so would recommend sharing
