I always wanted to study in one of the top university in the world and Unvirsity of Melbourne ticked all my boxes.
Course Curriculum :
The course curriculum is excellent and academics are at par with the ranking of the University. However, most of the work is expected to be done by students unlike our counter parts in india.
Exams :
I gave IELTS to get admission. My score was Reading: 8.5, Writing: 7.5, Listening: 8 and Verbal: 7.
Placement :
Post study career is excellent if you have got a good profile and bunch of work ex in the resume. As a young graduate with no experience will face hinderence while stepping into the market. Specifically in construction industry, work experience is a must to get into any entry level job.
Events :
I was part of the multiple student societies while I was in India. The highlight being Rise All foundation (NGO based in india)
Scholarship :
None.
Faculty :
I had my Thesis supervised by Dr David Wilson. He's one of the senior faculty in the University and worked on multiple Victorian Government projects as project head.
Hostel :
I dont live in campus, however I live nearby to the Campus.
