The home of the Developmental and Family Science major is the Department of Human Development and Family Studies, located in Hanley Hall and Fowler House. Developmental and Family Science majors are eligible to pursue the accelerated five-year Master of Public Health (MPH) degree; the MPH offers an excellent concentration in family and community health.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Self reported high school grades and official transcripts
- Self reoprted ACT or SAT scores
- Proof of english language proficiency
- Personal Essay and Purdue specific questions
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL IBT: 88 minimum or higher
- IELTS: 6.5 minimum or higher with 6.0 in each section
- Duolingo: minimum 110 or better
- SAT or ACT: minimum of 600 in Evidence Based Reading & Writing in SAT and 26 minimum in English section in ACT
