I decided to study in this college because of Location, weather, sports and work opportunities. Overall, the experience is great, lots of resource, but one has to know how to use them. Huge university so one can socialise and make friends and professional contacts. But it wouldn't be serve in a platter.
I chose this college mainly because of the specialization options available while pursuing a bachelor’s The experience was pretty wholesome, a blend of cultural inclusivity and career growth.
- Likes:
- The events, functions and workshops organised by the clubs and organisations on campus.,
- The implementation of extra credit assignments to help students bump up their grade.,
- How easy it is to navigate through campus and making use of the opportunities through the abundant resources available.
- Dislikes:
- The food at the dining hall, the quality is subpar.,
- Part time jobs extremely picky and based on luck. Do not know where applicants are going wrong.,
- Tuition way too expensive and the cost in general of insurance, books and other materials
The admission process was simple, I was in touch with an institute called Aspen research. I had not decided to go to ASU, but then, after I got my offer letter, I made it an option. I discovered that they are not so bad at research and programming, and maybe the time I am there, their ranking and facilities will advance.
I got into the honors college, which is a top honors college in the U.S. I was also selected for the Grand challeneges scholars program, so these factors helped me choose ASU as my university. I was also getting a good scholarship.
I was looking to explore emotion in cs. I was ranked #1 in innovation and at the time I was rejected for my top choices due to low grades.
