Park University Placements and Career Outcomes 2027

Park University graduates enter the US job market through OPT after completing their degree, with strong regional recruitment in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Career outcomes vary across programs and are strongest for business, computer science and healthcare tracks.

  • OPT-eligible programs: Nearly all Park University degrees qualify for 12-month OPT; STEM-designated MS tracks add a 24-month extension
  • MBA median starting salary: $55,000 to $65,000 (₹ 52 to 61 Lakh, market median for US regional MBAs)
  • Top hiring sectors: Healthcare, information technology, finance and public administration in the Kansas City corridor
  • Career support: Park University Career Development Center offers resume review, mock interviews and employer connect events for international students
  • Regional employer network: Cerner, H&R Block, Hallmark, Sprint and Missouri state agencies actively recruit from the Parkville campus

Insider note: Indian graduates from Park University who secure OPT in the Kansas City corridor report higher offer conversion than those relocating to coastal cities, driven by lower competition and a hungry regional employer base.

Park University vs Peer Universities

Peer comparison anchors Park University against similarly-sized private universities in the Missouri and greater Midwest region. Selection prioritizes overlap in program mix, tuition band and Indian student intake.

UniversityUS News Regional Rank 2026-2027Avg Annual PG Fee (USD)Avg Annual PG Fee (₹ Lakh)Differentiator
Park UniversityRanked in Midwest tier$19,980 (estimated)₹ 18.9 Lakh (estimated)Strong regional employer network, MBA-focused
Rockhurst UniversityRanked in Midwest tier$22,000 (estimated)₹ 20.8 Lakh (estimated)Jesuit tradition, healthcare-focused graduate portfolio
Webster UniversityRanked in Midwest tier$18,000 (estimated)₹ 17.0 Lakh (estimated)Global campus network across Europe and Asia
Avila UniversityRanked in Midwest tier$17,500 (estimated)₹ 16.5 Lakh (estimated)Smaller cohorts and personalized advising
William Woods UniversityRanked in Midwest tier$16,500 (estimated)₹ 15.6 Lakh (estimated)Equine and education specialisations

Park University stands out among these peers for its uniform graduate tuition model and its 60% online-capable graduate portfolio, which allows part-time study during OPT. Rockhurst and Webster offer stronger brand recall internationally, but at higher tuition.

Key insight: For Indian applicants weighing cost against employability, Park University sits at the lower-middle end of Midwest private tuition while offering a broader course catalogue than most peers.

Park University suits Indian students who prioritise affordable US tuition, small class sizes and a Kansas City employer network over global brand prestige. Investment of roughly ₹ 45 to 55 Lakh across an MBA and two years of living, against a median MBA starting salary of $55,000-$65,000 (₹ 52-61 Lakh), gives most graduates payback within four years on OPT-eligible F-1 pathways.

Park University is not the right fit for applicants targeting top-tier US consulting, investment banking or Big Tech recruitment out of graduation. Candidates with those goals should evaluate MBA universities in USA ranked in the QS Global Top 200 instead.

Overview

They are part of the AU ABC program and were very helpful in figuring out what I needed for my degree. They had a representative on base who was able to answer questions I had and walk me through getting my TA set up. Unlike other colleges, I was looking into they were not pushy with harassing calls during my workday and contacted me via email as I requested. The combination of online and on-site classes give me robust opportunities for working on my degree.

Fees

Just having to pay for books. One class used ProctorU which had exam fees, that would truly be my only complaint about something I had to pay for.
