Our faculty are well educated in many aspects of the financial world and can provide you with the real-world knowledge necessary for success in finance-related careers. You can also gain hands-on experience through internship opportunities, the Student Managed Investment Portfolio, Bloomberg certification, and CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and ACG (Association for Corporate Growth) competitions.

The Bachelor of Science degree in Finance prepares you to pursue job opportunities in the areas of corporate and personal financial management, banking, insurance, investments, and other financial institutions.

You may pursue a career as a financial planner; a broker of stocks, bonds, and commodities; an insurance agent; a wealth management, investment, or credit officer; a real estate agent; or a project manager. You may also seek employment with the federal government at, for example, the FDIC, Federal Reserve, Treasury Department, or Internal Revenue Service.
