- Student organizations such as Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow provide opportunities for professional growth and leadership development, while the Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Learning Community allows students to interact with others who share their professional interests by living in a residence hall with other students in the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.
- Graduates of the agricultural communication program are well-prepared for a variety of exciting careers in agriculture, science and business. They pursue careers with agricultural magazines and other publications, advertising and public relations agencies, farm radio and television organizations, agricultural commodity groups, and government agencies.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Acamedic Requirements:
- High school or secondary school official transcripts of the final four years (9 to 12) should be sent to Ohio State
- SAT or ACT scores should be submitted (Optional for 2023 admissions)
- Recommendation from a teacher or counsellor (optional)
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL (IBT): minimum 79 required
- IELTS or IELTS indicator: minimum 6.5 required
- ACT: minimum 21 score on the English section
- SAT: minimum 27 required on the reading section
- Duolingo: minimum 105 required
