Ohio State University Admission: Selection Criteria

Ohio State University admissions process is moderately selective, with an acceptance rate of 57%. Students applying for graduate admissions are required to have a minimum GPA score of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 (85%). Standardized test scores including GMAT and GRE are acceptable, but do not have any minimum requirements. International students applying for admission must submit English proficiency scores in the form of TOEFL iBT and IELTS. The tests must have minimum scores of 79 and 6.5 respectively. Students applying for bachelors programs have the option to not submit SAT and ACT scores.

Students are likely to hear from the admissions office within four to six weeks of applying. If accepted, students can then proceed to apply for student visa for US and work permit. It is advisable for students to keep a track of their application through the online portal.
