World-Class Faculty

The Master of Science in Management-Finance (MSM-Finance) program is led by the same world-class faculty who teach in our highly regarded undergraduate finance program (ranked first in the U.S. by Businessweek in 2010 and 2012). Through case studies, projects, corporate presentations, field trips, and internships, you will obtain a solid foundation in finance while applying key concepts and theories in and out of class.

Finance Options beyond the Bank

A solid foundation in finance doesn't mean that your future has to be banking. The world of finance touches every sector of our economy. The MSM-Finance degree can enhance your undergraduate degree with the quantitative and analytical skills to begin a career in your field of interest or set you off in an entirely new direction. Graduates of the MSM-Finance program accept positions in financial institutions, insurance, sales, higher education, arts and culture, government, manufacturing, investment firms, marketing, journalism, technology and many others.

The MSM-Finance program in the Risk Management and Financial Big Data tracks qualifies as a STEM degree, which allows international students in a technical field to apply for a 24-month extension to their optional practical training (OPT) period. This means you may be eligible for up to three years of work in the United States.
