The curriculum articulates with the School of Public Health and Health Professions and the School of Management, to provide an interdisciplinary approach in addressing issues and challenges of continuous change and quality management, facing contemporary and future complex health care systems. Clinical practicum experiences are individually designed to provide students with opportunities to develop and apply evidence-based leadership concepts and techniques.

The Master's in Nursing Leadership and Health Care Systems Program educates baccalaureate-prepared nurses to assume leadership and executive roles in a variety of health care systems and settings.
