  • Dislikes:
  • Some of the buildings could have been renovated now and made them upto the mark, apart from this, no other issues.,
  • The university is great. The students feel exactly like home with the culture shared.

I chose this college because of their co-op program, the perfect location as Boston which is the healthcare hub. It has been amazing so far. As overwhelming as it is, I believe it's worth it.

The university is in proper Boston City, with a strong Co-op/ Internship program. A decent college situated right in Boston city. Not a primary choice but a safe bet and will provide you with most of the facilities. The campus is very lively, with ample places to sit, work, and focus. The master's program (engineering/ CS major) has a large number of international students - mostly South Asians (around 75%). Courses are decent, too, with moderate difficulty. Scoring good grades is not at all difficult. Very less on-campus opportunities a few handful of dining jobs for students. Fees and Living expenses - rent and food would be on the higher side since the city is expensive overall.

  • Dislikes:
  • Too many Indians international exposure is almost negligible.,
  • Little to no campus opportunities for most of the students.,
  • No flexibility in the coop program you need to follow there timelines.

The admission process was quite simple for northeastern. I filled an online application. The application required your bachelor transcript, SOP, recommendation from 2 people and your English proficiency test results. They had rolling admits so it took around 1 month for me to get an admit from them. Then to confirm my seat I had to do a initial deposit for a couple of hundred dollars. I did not go by any consultants I researched about it on the internet.

I chose this university because of Co-op program, Study Abroad opportunity in top school that is top 100 in the world, campus in city, one of the best business schools, accepts all AP credits. Great experience overall from study abroad experience to co-op system, networking opportunities, industry preparedness, and great overall campus life.

  • Dislikes:
  • The tution fee is bit expensive compared to the other universities but if scholarships are provided it can be good

I didn't like the curriculum and the master's was only for 1 year. I was looking for a 2-year master's as I have completed my graduation in 3 years I want to pursue a 2-year master's to get a better understanding of my major.

SoP submitted. 3 lor submitted: 1. Hod, 2. Professor 3. Research paper professor I choose this University when software engineering tech job market was good and hiring of new grad was great. Currently its worst and nobody is hiring new grad students. I have mixed feelings for starters there are no on campus jobs on campus jobs is very hard to find here lots of Indian students and international students are trying to apply for on campus jobs and there are very less on campus jobs. as you don't have on campus job it becomes expensive and Boston itself is very expensive with skyrocketing rents and living expenses. On the other hand the university is good infrastructure good professors with deep knowledge and Boston is also a good place for finding jobs as it is hub for software and biotechnological companies lots of companies hire Northeastern students

  • Dislikes:
  • The main thing that I really didn't like about university is the weather, that's cold in boston and in winters there all around the snow, that occurs the problems in travelling in early morning to go campus.

The University is private, and their academic curiculum easier. They have good placement and CO-Op options to work in high-techs, The size of campus is pretty large, the faculty and staff is helpful. This University comes in top fifty ranking universities in USA. This is best university for techincal Education, or Stem programs.

  • Dislikes:
  • I wish there were more diverse course options, and some classes focus on outdated technology. The recent increase in admissions has led to a larger, more competitive crowd, impacting the overall experience.

My experience has been great. The university fosters inclusivity with numerous Indian clubs and events. While the overall curriculum was good, I expected more in terms of the technology taught and course selections. The campus life and supportive community have made my journey amazing.

It was a full roller-coaster ride for me. It's been 1.5 years now. I was very shy at first but now I'm total opposite. The university is full of Indian students honestly but there are perks too. I feel one must research properly before applying to university and courses they want to go for. Hope you all find yours.

  • Dislikes:
  • Nothing to dislike about this college. I actually got used to it in the first one month and I found it very easy to gel with other students or professors. It's a great choice for people looking to apply.

It's been a wonderful experience till now. I am a rising junior and I absolutely loved every day that I was here. The academic process, advising process, co-op process, and everything was wonderful. I truly enjoyed my work and fortunately, all the professors I worked with were very helpful too. The infrastructure played a key role in enhancing my experience and I would suggest it for freshmen who are looking pursue their bachelor's degree for sure.
