- I did choose Binghamton University as research on clean energy technologies is good. Also it is a R1 University which means high research activities goes on in the university.,
- Campus is large and beautiful.,
- Our department has good faculties.,
- The courses offered are good.,
- The resources offered in university are really useful.,
- Fleishman Career Center where they help it improve your resume, cover letter and also take mock interview for preparation for job interview.,
- Koffman Incubator Center where there are many startup companies which are basically useful for entrepreneur.,
- Transportation is also good as University has their own bus service to pick up students from University to near their home and vice versa.
- Dislikes:
- Especially for PhD student to get an advisor is tough. If you got already admitted and then graduate director is the advisor until you find an advisor related to your research interest. I am course complete and passed the PhD qualifying exam but still I am looking for an advisor.
Course Curriculum:
The courses designed are good especially for the renewable energy area.
Fees:
The I-20 for my program was $43,100 which is for one year. But actual actual cost is much less.
Course Curriculum:
I believe that it was a fantastic program that incorporates a multitude of aspects and is very all-encompassing. The program has a professor from high esteem institutes and they seem to really care and put emphasis on the individual.

Even though Binghamton University is a public college which means that the fees are a lot less in comparison to similar caliber schools in the region, it is still expensive.
Course Curriculum:
The courses offered here range from basics to very high level research. Talk to your seniors beforehand about what courses to choose from.

I used to pay around $13,500/semester for MS in Industrial Engineering.

Course Curriculum:
The course curriculum is pretty new and updated. There are a few subjects where there are completely new professors and it's hard to comment anything about them. But the regular professors are the ones who know what they are doing.

The curriculum is very close to the industry requirements and yes I was offered a GRA position where I worked with a company on a project for a year during my 3rd and 4th semester.
