What Students Say
Likes
- This is an Ivy League University. its one of the best and most elite universities in the world offering first class facilities and academic education to students.
- The University is really great. There are tremendous amount of resources available for each student.
- The academic curriculum is really intense but every bit worth the efforts.
Dislikes
- Nothing. So far I haven't encountered anything that I would say I dislike about this university. Maybe for students who are vegetarians, its a bit challenging due to lack of veg options available for eating. But with time one becomes used to it.
Required Exams for Admission
My experience at Columbia university has been exceptional so far. Its truly one of the best Ivy League universities in the world. Everything from academics, to faculty to extra curricular activities has been top - notch and worth every penny.
Course Curriculum
Yes the course is amazing. A lot of real market exposure.
Faculty
Faculty and staff are all very knowledgeable and friendly. Its honestly a privilege to study with them.
Campus Life
There are numerous clubs, events and extracurricular activities on campus. There are almost 15 libraries on campus with great sport facilities and wi-fi connectivity.
Placement
Placements are really good. All big four, FAANG, top consulting firms and others are interested in this program's graduates.
Accommodation
Rent in NYC especially Manhattan can be well over $1000 for a decent room. If you are sharing with someone, it will clearly decrease.
Exams
My scores: GRE 154 Verbal Reasoning 163 Quant Reasoning 4.0 Analytical Writing; GRE Total 317 TOEFL 108/120. SOP, 3 LORs, Transcript, Degree of matriculation, test scores for GRE and TOEFL, Video interview, CV has to be submitted. Also, there was a video pre - recorded interview included in the application itself. It had situational questions.
Fees
The cost is pretty high, at par with a master's course for an international student at Columbia University. It keeps on getting updated each semester and can be found from the program website.
