Huge on-campus opportunities, vibrant and diverse culture, smaller Indian crowd than other colleges, great for Industrial Engg
Course Curriculum :
Really good curriculum, with great flexibility to pursue courses from others fields.
Exams :
My scores: TOEFL 104/120, GRE 312/340 with 149 in Verbal and 153 in Quant. Class lowest was around 310 in GRE.
Placement :
In the US, placements do not depend on your college. They depend entirely on your skill set - both technical and soft skills. The college tries to help you by conducting job fairs where you get to network and showcase your skillset. Everyone from my batch was able to secure a job.
Internship :
Yes, a co-op through the college. Lehigh offers consulting services to other companies, where students are the consultants. A huge opportunity to get a foot in the working space.
Fees :
$1500 per credit, and a total of 30 credits to complete. So it is around $45000 only for tuition. Living costs can be covered through on campus jobs and other opportunities like TA, RA, GA, etc
Scholarship :
Lehigh University does not offer scholarships for MS in Industrial Engg
Faculty :
Professors are incredibly smart. Prof. Martin Takac was my favorite. No sure about the ratio, but it is very balanced.
Campus Life :
Beautiful campus, great environment, plenty of college activities to partake in
Hostel :
I lived outside campus where the rent was $350 per month. I was able to cover living costs through on campus jobs. That's a huge upside at Lehigh University.
