It is in the same town I went to high school in. All my friends were going there and I knew it was big enough that I could make new friends. They have a strong Greek life and I wanted to be in a sorority. Everyone that went there seemed to love it and I am so glad I decided to go there. I also got great scholarships and in-state tuition and much less expensive.
Course Curriculum :
The course curriculum is good. There are mandatory classes that everyone has to take unless you test out. There is a certain class you have to take called university prep that I did not get much out of.
Exams :
I only took the ACT. I did not take a university level exam but because of my ACT score, I did not have to take a few math classes.
Fees :
There are fees and charges just like any other college. Nothing extreme. Because of how nice the dorms are, they are a bit expensive but there are cheaper options.
Examination Structure :
Each class has a specific time that they take finals. If it is just a regular test, the teacher decides how it will be but for finals, there is a specific date and time unless you are given special permission.
Faculty :
The faculty here is awesome!! They have been very helpful and understanding. I was always under the impression that because it was college, professors would not be very helpful but that is not the case at Nicholls. Everyone is willing to work with you and help in any way they can.
