The CMC Admission Committee conducts a holistic review and seeks to consider the whole person during the application review. While applicant’s high school record is the most important aspect of the application, very strong consideration is also given to the extracurricular activities, essays, letters of recommendation and standardized test scores.

Claremont McKenna College admitted 9% of the total applicants in the year 2018 with about 325 students getting enrolled.

To be considered for Regular Decision admission, the applicant must submit the application and all supporting credentials by January 5. The applicant will be notified of admission decision by April 1.
